Information for Potential Partners
In evaluating potential partners, GGP considers the situation of the artisans and their community; the production process and quality of items; and the impact and effectiveness of community-development programs. The artisans, their community, or the beneficiaries of their work must be socially or economically marginalized or vulnerable, including women, indigenous populations, and those living in poverty. Products must be consistently high quality and marketable, produced according to fair-trade principles, and representative of the culture and traditions of the community in which it is made. And there must be a clearly demonstrated commitment to the long-term development of the local community through regular service, educational, and training programs.
At this time, we are not accepting new applications for partnership. If you would like to learn more about our partnership criteria click here. We will contact you when we expand our programs in your region.
