Fair Trade Grass Table Settings

Serving any Fair Trade snacks at your Fair Trade Break on May 10th? If so, make sure your serving pieces are as socially just and eco-friendly as your chocolate. This set of four circular placemats, four coasters, and one trivet in rich earth tones is woven from tough lutindzi grass, which grows in rocky outcrops and is otherwise useless (even to grazing cattle). Women collect the grass after heavy rains, carefully leaving the roots in the soil to ensure its regrowth the following year.
