Community Friendly Movement

Based in New Delhi, Community Friendly Movement's (CFM) aim is to create opportunity for marginalized artisan communities throughout the country. CFM works directly with producers at the bottom of the supply chain to help sell their handmade products to a larger market. Among the groups with which CFM works are the wood and lacquer craftsmen of Etikoppaka, who, with the organization's assistance, have rediscovered traditional local knowledge that has revived the craft.
