Artetropic

Asociacion de Artesanos del Tropic de Cochabamba (ARTETROPIC) works primarily with women artisans who use the excesses of nature like orange peels, banana leaves, jipi japa fibers and recycled paper to create eco-friendly gifts. ARTETROPIC is an umbrella organization of seven artisan associations working with over 600 indigenous families in the Chapare region of Bolivia. Its ultimate goal is to increase economic opportunities for Chapare women in particular.
