Fair Trade Creates Change

Each purchase that you make of fair trade products through Global Goods Partners plays a direct role in poverty reduction and women's empowerment. Each time you make a purchase, your impact is multiplied by three:

1) As a fair trade organization, we ensure that women in poor communities earn a fair income to support themselves and their families. This means that families have increased access to nutritious food and the ability to send their children to school.

2) Because Global Goods Partners is a nonprofit, all of the profits from your fair trade purchase go towards supporting our artisan partners around the globe. Support comes in three forms:

• increased orders and increased income
• technical assistance, such as customs, packing or quality control direction
• capacity building with product development and marketing assistance

3) We partner with organizations that not only provide jobs, but also have community development programs such as women's healthcare, access to primary education and skills training.
