Potohar Organization for Development Advocacy (PODA) is a grassroots group that works to secure the rights of rural populations in Pakistan’s Punjab region. PODA creates awareness of human rights, women’s empowerment and good governance in villages throughout the area. It provides mentoring for rural youth, adult literacy, sports for village children, and training in income generational skills. PODA also works with young people to promote global linkages to expand support for universal standards on civil, political, economic and social rights.
