There is an open letter to Michelle Obama posted on the campaign’s website, asking the First Lady to convert the White House into an official Fair Trade Home. The letter will be delivered to Ms. Obama when it has enough signatures.
Global Goods Partners is one of over 60 organizations and retailers currently actively involved in the campaign. If the First Lady accepts our invitation, we will be supplying fair trade home décor products in a gift bag that FTWH will be delivering to Michelle Obama.

Pray the Devil Back to Hell, A film Produced by Abigail E. Disney: Pray the Devil Back to Hell has inspired activists worldwide with its empowering message about the bold potential of communities in action. The film chronicles the remarkable story of the courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country. Thousands of women joined together to pray for peace and then staged a silent protest outside of the Presidential Palace. Armed only with white T-shirts and the courage of their convictions, they took on the warlords and nonviolently forced a resolution during the stalled peace talks. Inspiring, uplifting, and motivating, it is a compelling testimony to how grassroots activism can alter the history of nations.
