Fair Trade Fundraising for Global Justice

Global Goods Partners (GGP) offers universities and student groups an easy-to-implement, educational, and socially responsible fundraising tool. Now, through the sale of fair trade products made by GGP’s partners in Asia, Africa, and the Americas, you can raise funds for on-campus social justice or advocacy program while also improving the lives of women and their families in some of the most impoverished communities in the world.

The Global Goods Partners fundraising program:

• Returns 20 percent of the total purchases to your student group
• Engages your campus in an innovative fundraising campaign
• Introduces fair trade, unique, attractive, and environmentally responsible products into your community
• Provides educational materials on important global issues faced by GGP’s CBO partners
• Provides speakers to college campuses and is easily incorporated into student advocacy campaigns

As a nonprofit organization, GGP uses proceeds from product sales to provide technical assistance and capacity-building grants to its CBO partners. By focusing on increasing income for community enterprises, raising global awareness of their work, and strengthening their programs, GGP strives to support sustainable advancements in the areas of economic empowerment, education, health, and women’s rights.

Our university partners are also excellent GGP ambassadors, bringing our fundraising and global education programs to schools in their communities.
